2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Question about spools?

I am building a pulling truck that might get drove around a little bit. My question is, can i put a spool in my dana 80 instead of a locker? Since i might drive it on the road i will put a locker in the front. But i want to make sure i can spool the rear. Where is a good place to get on? thanks guys.

Not on the street!

I wouldn't suggest driving a spooled vehicle on the street! (but I'm sure there will be someone jumping in with their success) It is VERY hard on the axle shafts and tires. Don't even THINK about driving in the rain... almost sure to lose it in a turn. My 2 cents.
