Ok I am tring to find out what years each transmission was used.



I know the 94-95 the dodge use a 47rh



96 use the 47re if I am right.



48re ?



before 94?



I just tring to see what was changed and stuff something like the specs on the yrs of the cummins.

J_K_auto, In the 96 service manual it list the 47RE recentley I have re4ad that the 47rh was used in early 96's.



The 47re was used between 96 and 2003.

The 48re came with the HO engine.

I believe in 2004 the 48re came standard.



With the 47re and 48re you will need the same year PCM as trans.



The 47rh is not computer controlled.
