Best oil for 12v?

My wife told me that her late husband test drove a truck with this product in it and smoked the tires. Anyone know anything about it? I tried a search on the forum but found nothing.

Dr. Performance - 1. 877. 338. 7373

Thanks for the answers and input.

Edit: According to their website, their product was written up in TDR #48, May/June/July 2005.

Catoiler, what's wrong with them? Are they full of crap? Does their module screw our motors up?

UPDATE: I found this website: I have to admit, though, that I don't really understand some of the writing. The guy says that Quadzilla won't work on the truck, because it has weak rings, but at the end he talks about his truck being named Quadzilla?????

How Dr Performance Works Page

I think I'll go with your advice, Catoiler. Thanks for the heads up.

I had one of there first 325/600 pressure boxes on mine for about a week. Rail pressure was way too high, idled and ran rough. I think they have improved on their products since then, but there are still many others I would recommend first.

There are a number of people running their boxes and seem to like the way they work.

Seems like I saw it posted that they had moved locations, but don't really remember.

Dr Performance is basically the laughingstock of any diesel performance websites I have been on. I am turned off by their claim of "improving performance and mileage by proper fuel atomization, not by overfuelling. " It takes fuel to make power. True, better spray angles, timing, and atomization can probably add 25-30hp without extra fuel. Any more than that, though, and you need more fuel.
