Question about wait to start

I have a new 06 truck. When i turn the truck over to the possition befor the starter kicks, the wait to start sign does not come on at all. Is this normal, does the light only come on durning a certain temp or does it usupose to come on all the time for a split second.

Mine has yet to come on either. However, I've read on here before that the temperature needs to be in the 50s before it will illuminate. Hope this helps.

Yes you are correct the temp needs to be below 50 and then it will come on. You can crank it right up though. if it is to cold it will smoke a little if you don't wait to start enjoy your truck Kevin
