Anybody know how I could wire my driving lights into the headlights chime so if leave my driving lights on, the chime will start yappin' when I open the door? Before I drain my batteries... ... ... .

As always TIA,

Glenn

I have the relay that powers the driving lights triggered by the high beams. So the driving lights come on with the high beams. This way the chime works and I can use the passing lights (pull back on the turn signal stalk) to flash the headlights and driving lights when someone with poor vision starts to pull out in front of me

Discount auto parts stores sell a kit (about 10 bucks) that has a chime in it. Its wired so if the door is opened with the load still on (the light or whatever) the chime will sound.

Why Not Ignition Switched?

I wired my fog lights as daytime running lights with an interior switch and switched thru the ignition. Why not wire your relay operate voltage for the driving lights off of your ignition switch and thru a separate switch under the dash. that way, you don't worry about leving them on cause they turn off automatically when you shut down the engine.
