Question for 2001 owners

Just took delivery on my new 2001 HO 6 speed. I took my gauges from my 98. 5 Ram and want to install them and discovered no grommet in the firewall; (at least not one I can find). For those of you who have installed gauges in your 2001 where did you come through the firewall?

I came through the grommet that the hood release passes through. Pull the plug and enlarge the hole in the grommet to accomidate additional wires and boost tube and your set.

I just came through the rubber boot the main wiring harness comes through, lots of room for just a wire and boost tube.

I did same as Mike - -thru the wiring harness.

Thru the wiring gromet which is about 3 inches above where the hood release cable comes thru.
