I bought a used Drag Comp a while back. The sticker on it says for 2001-2002, and it came with the adapters I have pictured. Long story short I don't think it works right, I get barley any more performance with it on, EGTs stay the same (1150-1200) as well as boost (37psi). It plugged right in so I figured it was all good, then some one told me there are differences in the 01-02 and I should be using the adapters if the other dude had it on an 01? I can't figure out how they would go on... I used the Blue Chip wire tap and I have power on the stud so I don't think that's the issue. Does any one know the break down on the harness' for the different years?

02 QC/LB 4x4. Full billit DTT, Mach 4s, FASS 95, B1-2 on a ported stock manifold, 5" exhaust.....

That's what I'm thinkin... what do you think of my boost/EGTs with out the box on? Do they seem normal? The fact that they don't really climb makes me think bad box...

Im running about the same setup as u and im running at 566hp and 1120 ft. lbs. Make sure the conection at the pump is good. I have a II SPS 62 with out water injection comp on 5x5 ill see 1600+ and i had to turn the turbo down to about 45#. 5X5 will give u lots and lots of smoke with the Mach 4's. You will see a big power gain when the box is on and working. Check that wire and see what u can.

I had my Edge Comp go bad after only a month or two. It would only work on the lower settings that didn't utilize the wire tap. On the upper setting I was getting nothing but a delay when I hit the gas pedal on take off with a loaded trailer. My box had power and my Stealth Pump Cover had power.

I think if you check the volts at the pump with the Comp box off and then on you should see a few volt increase. I had no power going to the pump from my Comp box. I sent my box back to Edge and after two weeks and some crappy customer service I got a new box.

It sounds to me as though your question is, "do I need this connector and if so how do I use it?"

Yes, you will need it as the MAP sensor connector is different from an 01' to an 02'.
From the picture you posted: The one on the left side, small black end will plug into your MAP sensor ( located on the head behind the fuel filter cannister). Then the adapter on the right, the small black end will fit into the Box's connector that looks similar. Then the two gray ends will plug into each other.
I had to use this set-up on my 01' when I bought a used Comp form an '02.

I'm seeing 12. 45 volts at the pump box on or off. My box must have been on a late 01 because it plugs right in. There is no where to connect those adaptors. Am I correct that all the Comp boxes ar the same, and the only diff is actually in the harness? If so I'm going to un-plug mine and plug another one in and see if there is a difference. TTerry what are your EGT #s with your box off?
