Westach Fuel Pressure Gauge Setup For Sale

I just recently fixed a small boost leak and I was noting today that where before I had a small puff of grey smoke at WOT off boost, I now am unable to get any smoke out of the tailpipe. From a stop, hammering it with 0 boost, whatever I do I cannot get the truck to smoke. This is with DDIII's, comp on 5X5 and a scotty II. I think everything is good powerwise, I'm hitting 38-39 psi with this turbo. But my experience with all prior setups on my old truck tell me I should be able to turn day into night with this much fuel. Is something wrong? I may have to change to supermentals soon. I have the room egt wise - I am seeing 1400 at the end of a 0-100 run with the cowl hole blocked, 1300 with it open. What is your experience with a similar setup?

Arcticat:

My son has a 2001 similarly equipped to yours. (Auto,

3. 54, PowerMax 3). He is using my Piers HX-40/16

right now and he will get smoke off the start and

a "stream" until boost comes up, but it is not bad.

However, he has the DD "Super Mental" Injectors

so as you said, maybe that is the difference.

I know of a few members that would like to be

in your position; good fueling, good turbo, respectable

performance and NO SMOKE;... ..... or at least very

little!!:D
