I posted earlier in the week about upgrading the turbo on my truck to an HX-35. I've had a couple members pm me will to sell me a turbo (Thanks guys). One offered to sell me a 35/40 turbo with a 14 w/g housing. I'm curious what makes a turbo a 35/40? Also, with my mods, wouldn't a 14 housing be laggy? Thanks

if all you have for power upgrades is the EZ then yes go reg. HX35. If you plan to go bigger soon then maybe a 35/40 hybrid . HX35w should handle 350hp then a HTBG 57/12 up to 425 then a 62/14 ect.

It is a mating of a HX40 compressor and a HX35 turbine. The 14cm WG housing is pretty common for them.
