Did my first dyno run @ Shied's this weekend. I got what I believe are some odd readings and just wanted some opinions/ info.

I ran on the mustang dyno, they did the runs from 50-70 o/d locked out.

1st one was w/ comp on 3x5:

254. 4 hp @ 58mph and 732. 9ft-lb TQ @ 58mph

2nd one was w/comp on 5x5:

278 hp @ 58mph and 822. 3ft-lb @56mph

I think the hp is low and tq is high for my set-up. I "expected" something in the low-mid 300's for hp and high 600's low 700's for tq.

Maybe my expectations were a little high, but why the big TQ #'s and low HP #'s?

Thanks in advance

jeff.

I dyno'd 222HP and 689TQ last time I went??? I scratched my head too. I want to try again with my DDII's to see what the difference is

When I dyno'd Dads 98 I had a slipping clutch and a bad Comp box (only worked up to 3x5) on a super flow it did 336hp and 797. 9 tq. See sig for mods but it's about the same I believe
