Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Question on injector cleaning

have a small problem with a poss plugged injectior. I am going to cummins tmorrow to have it diagnosed. (I don't trust Dealer Mechanics..... )



My question is, I have 2 filters, 1, a 30micron filter back by the tank, and the stock one. Despite this, does a thing like this happen alot? Most of us don't have this happen with all the changing of our injectors to bigger ones and such. Mine are still stock at 53K..... Is this something I will nead to do every so often?

Stupid question, how's the lift pump, and are the filters OK?

LP ok 12-13 PSI across the board. (2 pumps)
