Hi,

I got a westech FP kit and 18" hose form geno's, and i'm trying to install it. I have every thing hook up and started the truck but have no pressure , do I need remove the valve core from the VP44 , or is it something else? i have tested pressure with a mechanical guage and have 15psi @ idel with it. ,

Does the schrader connection line have the center valve depression thingy in it? (not familer with westech, I run a mechanical gauge) Try seperating the 18" line from the transducer (sendng unit) and bump LP to see if you get fuel flow. Mike

I removed the sender, started the engine and have no fuel coming out, the hose is as tight as I think it will go w/o striping the threads.

You may have over tightened it. If you tighten it too much the center part of the valve will wedge itself into the valve and block it off. When was the last time you checked the fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge?

Try calling Geno's (800)755-1715

You've compressed the o-ring into the schrader valve. Remove the 18" line and make sure the rubber isn't pressed into valve. Odds are Parks is right and you may have to replace line. Mike

ok i removed the hose and put it back on finger tight and now it works, thanks for the help, now i have my gauge hooked up, but it seem this electronic guage responses alot slow slower than a mech. gauge. Has anyone else notice this?
