Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Question on lift pump warranty

The infamous lift pump died on me on the interstate late Sat. night without warning. Fuel presure was 7-9 lbs. at the time and the demise was instantaneous. ( This is my 3 one in 91,000 miles. ) Thank god I had a new spare with me. Took about 30 minutes to install. The dealer warrantied my last 2, but when the truck had less than 50k. Now they are telling me that it is no longer in warranty. I thought it was indeed warrantied untill 100k. Has anyone had theirs replaced under warranty at this mileage or am I out of luck?

5 year 100k miles. Looks like it's on you. You can get new ones online for about 140 shipped. Might look at rail-mounting the next one. Good luck, Mike
