I am still running my 1999 3500 but am out of the loop when it comes to new boxes available for it. I have been running an old Van Aikin box that I got about 200,000 miles back, but recently let a buddy have it. He borrowed it to try it and fell in love!!

I would like to get a newer box, but do not know what to get. I am running 275 injectors and a South Bend Con O clutch. I would like some more power, but not crazy about upgrading anything else. I do very little pulling with the truck any more.

My best case would be something that would give me more power to play with, but be easy on fuel if driving like my wife wants me to... . No fun there!

Any suggestions?

i was really happy with the juice w/att on my 99 (RIP... i loved her so). it has some fun things to play with. others tried were banks ottomind (caca) and EZ.

being a second gen, you may appreciate some of the USER SET parameters on the j/a like the defueling for exit temps, various alerts for things we are all concerned with on our trucks, and good smoke control features. with your injectors it should be a pulling machine in tow mode and a rocket ship when dialed to kill.

it's a mod i'd do again without hesitation if i found myself in another 2nd gen truck.

You might also want to take a look at Quadzilla's XZT+. They have been doing their homework, and it would appear that they have a leg up on the competition, especially with customer service. Ross took the time to talk to me a few days ago, when I had some questions on what would make my POS Ferd run better.

Van AAken box is 65HP, so is edge EZ and XZT+. some features are a little better now, but both do about the same thing:add timing and fueling through CAN-BUS
