questions about grill covering

Is there any other benifits from covering the grill than to help the motor run warmer and getting heat into the cab?

Only other thing I can think of is keeping bugs(not too many of those this time of year)and rocks out of the raditor.

I have a Lund winter front. It fits into the grill holes.
It does warm up faster. If you tow or haul any weight, I wouldnt leave it on while under load.
It was about $30. 00, which in my opinion is way too much.
