I use photoshop and when I want to post pics I have to reduce the size of the pic to 32k. In Photoshop when I "save to web" and reduce the pic to something smaller then 32k (lets say 20k) it still shows the "size on disc" properties in Windows as 32778 bytes or something. So then it won't upload as it reads as larger then 32k. Am I missing something??? or what is the best way to save pics in Photoshop Elements?

resize it to 31k in Photoshop elements. The file limit size is 32,000 bytes - 1k is 1024 bytes which is why a 32k file is larger than 32,000 bytes. Make sure to save it in a .jpg format and reduce the quality to 5 or 50% - you won't loose any noticeable quality at that level and the file size will be WAY smaller

I was resizing down to 20K but when I clicked on properties under windows it would "size" say 20k but also say "size on disk"32778 bytes or something.

Ill check the quality levels I was saving at.

thanks.
