Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Smoked my turbo

I had a question for some of the people out there who might have made the same conversion that I am making. Recently I was running the five speed transmission with the larger enterprise engine input shaft in a mitchell dual disc pulling clutch. When I called them they said that to make the swith to the six speed I would have to have the hubs in my clutch discs changed to accomadate the six speed because the hubs would be loose on the six speed transmission. Just wondering if this was right or how this can be. Any help would be greatly appreciated from you on the subject.

The base of the input shaft that they use is larger making the teeth shorter so the disc's have to coincide. With the NV 5600 the tooth of the input shaft is longer even though the outside diameter is the same (deeper cut). What they are saying is you should not put the short tooth disc's that you have on a long tooth shaft, it will not fill the spline.
