Finally got my mind made up to buy Black 03 and the local dealer sold out of everything but white long boxes. Great to see a rebate on the 04's. Anyone checked on the "plumbing" due in Jan? Sure hope the 04 early doesn't have any extra crap. How long is the Farm Bureau dea; going to last? Does anyone know who some Rams have door ding protectors and some don't? thanks and have fun!

If you are talking about body side moulding, (ding protectors) they are optional for $75 +-.

The Farm Bureau discount should be good with the 04's. You must be a member for over 30 days before they (the Farm Bureau) will issue you the certificate. The cost to join the Farm Bureau may be different in different areas, but for Washington State, it is about $15 a year for an "affiliate" membership. This is a no brainer if you are going to buy a new truck. It is an instant $485+- cash discount. If you order a new truck, you may be able to join the Farm Bureau at that time, wait for you truck to be built, and then get the certificate after 30 days, but before you take delivery. Check with your dealer...



I came real close to ordering a 03 3500 SRW. I had the Dodge loyalty discount, the Farm Bureau discount, the regular Dodge truck discount, and a military discount. It amounted to several thousand dollars, but when I examined the GVWR of the SRW 3500 over my old 2500HD, I only gained about 600-800 lbs over the rear axle. Couldn't justify a new truck for that little of a gain over what I have... Have fun...

Note that the side moulding is $75 per side. Also, I hear chrome mouldings will be available for 04.
