I've been digging through the manual & can't find the 12. 2" torque converter in the transmission torque tables. Only place it is listed is in the reinstall section. I'm guessing it is because the bolts are spaced father apart on the larger converter housing.
 
Alan. Please take no offense to my other post. I should have given a bit more info. It is not the truck in my sig. , it is the Ramcharger that I'm putting a 1991(Non-IC, 727, 4x4) drive train into. Someone in my shoes should not question... only listen. I appreciate the info!!!!!

None taken. I had the same reaction as yourself, "35 ft. lbs. ??? can't be", that is why I kept looking. :)
