Quick question please?

I know a guy that says he has an EZ with a wiring harness for an 02 and that it will work on my truck. But his truck is an 01, does this make since, would it work? Is the software compatible even with the 02 harness? Just wanted to ask some quick questions. Any help would be great. Thanks.

It is the same. but you need an adapter harness for your 01.

my 01 has the flat plugs for both the data and MAP connectors. don't remember when they changed, but some of them had a triangle shaped plug.
