BTW a Dodge intercooler is about twice the size of a Ford.

Dinosaur guys? Well Lets see a Common Rail or Electronic engine get to the point where Sheids is at. That's proven. Maybe take and make a V16 out of 2 of the PSDs?



Engine back in with new rods? Wow... . Why didn't you just balance and blueprint it? OH that's right... . the rods can't handle the power.



I'm sorry David. I met you last year at TiM, your a great guy but I have to say... . I don't see a Ford or Chevy getting to the level that the CTD can. I have YET to hear of someone who has Broken a crank or rod in the CTD.



Tell you what... Get your truck running, Get 3 of your buddys load them in your truck... . and lets go camping! Oh ya... hook up a 28foot camper. Last I checked there are memebers here that can do that... . and then turn around and put down respectable numbers at the track. It's not just one of us... it's many. I'll be there someday..... I'm just short on money!



On the side... . David I do have to say keep up the good work. I do think you have a very fast truck and You are a great guy! You are a leader in this industry. If you can prove me wrong, Do it! I'd love nothing more than to be proven wrong! Bring the PSD into the BIG power catagory!

I can say i stand in that line Josh, except my TT is 30' and about 8500#s loaded :d havent been to the track yet (weather) but i can say i know i can row it to an easy low 13 second 1/4



just under a year ago i had one of those damn PSD's in an excursion. and i can guaran-damn-tee it couldnt do half what this truck can and i still havent exceeded the cost of that POS with this truck AND its mods. shoot i even get better mileage towing than the excursion did empty.



Now, back on topic I'd like to see Schieds win it but that's just because i know them guys. but i hear the whole Bentz crew are top notch too. also heard there are a few tricks yet to be disclosed from some no-namers out there too.

Give me a stand alone computer that will operate the CR, and I will get a lot closer. It reminds me of the gas racing secene. A few years back it was all carbs. Now the quickest 31-10. 5W car is EFI. The Duramax is near 700 on diesel only already, and that motor hasn't been out as long as the 12v Cummins.

Wow, that's a great comeback. Fact is, before the engine can make more power, the quirks need to be worked out. Give it time.

I have seen broken rods in Cummins. Cranks? I havn't seen any, but I'm sure it has happen.
