I have been waiting for someone to bring this up. I even called NHRA, and they claim the car never went in the 7's. Some say 8's. Many stories, even more rumors. I truly do not know the real facts. Again, facts stand on their own, bring them.



I even have it on my web site, as he is the originator. I saw it in Indy once. Neat car. Think about it, 318 cu in, 2 stroke, aluminum block and heads, like the DDRA truck (Doug Doring's), it has only run 9. 27 with a nearly identical power plant. Only thing is Doug is spraying 2 stages of nitrous!



In a dragster, last seen in 1985 or so, (20 years ago) no nitrous, maybe a 8. 50? 8. 20?
