Ram Truck Owner Forced Make a Very Hard Decision

Been a minute since I used QS, but got a PM from a member and had to jump on real quick.

They have updated it looks like finally, it worked really well.

https://quickserve.cummins.com/qs3/portal/parts/index.html

I also had to register a new user name. Made it the same as my email, then it emailed me a password link, set some security questions and then set a password. Then had to dig out my ESN it cleared them all out and

It redirected me to parts.cummins.com that was really nice.

https://parts.cummins.com/esn-entry/main/system-detail/option-details/esn

Here is an example for folks who have not used this system in a while what it looks like for your ESN.

This “change” has been happening over the past couple of years. They’ve even shut QS down, forcing you to use parts.Cummins but they’ve backed up and reopened QS every time. Maybe it’s just because I don’t know it like I know QS, but I do NOT like the Cummins website. It’s better than it’s been, but I still don’t like it.

We hate the new site at work…I mean really hate it. Things we used are no longer there…

From a dealer perspective it is terrible.

In the race to keep up with current software they have no choice BUT it really makes it difficult to do the deed..

Probably was 2 years since I used it.

I recall they were shutting it down, and came back to life.

All the ESN were wiped out. I'm working on the 1996 parts, so nothing newer and already knew exactly what I was looking for. For a free resource for me was OK, and the PDF was pretty clear.

But for you guys making your living off it, sorry to hear it's not working out.
