Well If I would not have heard it and sawit withj my own 2 eyes, I would not have believed it. I stopped by a local truck equipment business today while working, and bugged the mgr to let me take a peek at a 2003 2500 4 door S/B. The truck had the box removed and a stake bed put in its place. I was allowed into the shop and looked at the truck. It was a Cummins, Confirmed when the hood was opened for me. Then he shut the hood, and no mirrors or smoke made the truck change, but when he started it, I would have sworn it was a v-10. If I would not have just seen it was a Cummins, I would not have believed it. . When he reved it a couple of times, you could hear the rattle of a diesel, but still no louder that the exhaust note of a new 1500 gasser with its V8 rumbling. Definantly no problem in the drive thru lanes... Oh WAit... . How am I suppossed to agrivate my neighbor, at 6:30 AM with my truck parked outside his window in my driveway...
especially on a cold Michigan winter morning
