Has anyone used these? If so do you like them? When the window is up going 70 do you have wind noise? Do they effect the rubber ceil around the window in any way? Is there anything you don't like about them?

Thanks

I just installed them on my 04. 5 this weekend. About a 2 min. job. So far everything seems fine. Only thing I noticed is they increase the blind spot around the A pillar. Note: if you get the 4 pc. set, the rear ones install with tape to hold them in- they are not snap in!

I had them installed when I had my ArmorThane spray in liner put in. Have had no problems so far and really like the idea of no adhesive on the paint. I could see paint fade differences if you took the traditional ones off after some time. Had the regular ventvisors on my 01, and had to take them off and redo the adhesive. A real pain.

I also have just installed the Auto Ventshades Quick Snaps on my 2004. 5 Quad cab. The fronts do just snap in but the rear doors have some of the thin foam tape to help them stay in place. The instructions say to scuff the inside of the rear rubber channels with the small abrasive pad which is included and then clean with the alcohol pads included. Then install and roll the windows up and leave for 24 hours to help the foam to take a "set". I also applied a teardrop sized amount of "Goop", (like Shoe Goo adhesive), underneath the rubber strips at the ends for an extra measure of security because I thought the rear vent shades may pull off at highway speeds if the rear windows went down. The small amount of adhesive can be easily removed if you want to remove the shades. I didn't notice any increased wind noise but noticed the fronts block off a little more of your viisibility around the "A" pillar. Overall, I like them because on the hot sunny days I can leave the windows down about and inch or so and the rain stays out. Hope this helps, WCPoe - out.
