This is long - The condensed version..... boost elbows plug up making the wastegate actuate too soon, if you have low boost check them also. Now for the longer version.

I went back through the archives and looked for information and found some but decided to pass this on incase someone else is having problems with low boost pressures and an Edge Comp.

It all started way back when (last year) when my Comp went to the bomb heaven in the sky. Edge promptly sent me out a new one and when it arrived I installed it and also changed the intake gaskets at that time. I hop in my truck go for a ride and I now have a stumble, I go back and check all the connections and find nothing obvious. Numerous time over the next many months I check connections, pump taps, plugs, etc. Finally one of the guys at Edge says, check the ground, I said I did it looks fine, he says move it to the battery negative post, so I do this and my stumble is gone but now it just doesn't seem to have the power I once had. I go back over connections and find that the pump tap is not good, I fix that and now I have adjustable power but it doesn't seem as healthy as the old comp.

So now some time passes, summer is coming, I've put on a 4 inch exhaust, a BHAF, done my massive spring cleaning and the weather is getting warm and for some reason I just can't spray for mosquitoes like I use to with the old comp and the max boost pressure I can get is 26 psi. I've checked and recheck boots and bolts and find nothing wrong, so i call Edge to talk to them, they send me out a new box that day, yesterday night I get home and there it is waiting for me so this morning I swap the boxes out and head off to work (where I am now).

This box feels stronger and boost goes to 28-29 psi but I used to get 36-38 with the old box and be able to smoke like a frieght train. So I'm thinking, Edge sent me a complete kit not just the box so I'll swap out the boost elbow just for giggles. When I take the old elbow old I plug off the hose end with my finger and try to blow through the orifice and barely anything goes through, I check the new one and get plenty of flow, aahh hhuuuhh, I put the new elbow in and go for a short test drive after the truck is up to temp I punch it... . we won't be having a mosquitoe problem around here at work anymore, 36 psi in just a very short run. Things are back to normal, I'm just so moist now I can't stand it. So the moral of the story is that just because it doesn't have any moving parts (the boost elbow) doesn't mean it's not broken. Again Edge Products provided me with excellent customer service since my original box was purchased over 2 years ago and this is the third time they've sent me stuff.
