R/T hood

Has anybody out there tried a hood from US Body Source? I'm looking at thier R/T style hood looks very nice.

Mopar muscle put an extremely cool hood on an old body style truck a couple of years ago, give me a day and I will look it up and let you know which one it was. I think it was a dual scoop Challenger ram air type hood.

The hood Mopar Muscle used was from AAR Fiberglass but it is the same style I think that you are looking at. I included a couple of pics but they are not very good, I think my scanner is dying. They said the hood fit very well and all the components bolted up like they were supposed to, the hood also included the light-weight hood srpings.

Do you know the date of that article?

They installed the hood in the Oct. '99 issue. The color pic. is from the rap-up article in the Dec. '99 issue.

Does that hood have functional ram air?

I'm not sure if you can open the ducts or not, they didn't and didn't say if you could. You could get ahold of AAR fiberglass and find out I'm sure.

The hood from US Body Source can be opened up for ram air I think have a cowl induction style also. they do have a web site that shows different styles.
