Wooohoooo!!! Nothing like Cummins power baby!!

Cruising home from work tonight, this PHORD PS rolls up next to me and then slows down to see if I want to play. I look at him through the corner of my eye and stomp on it. The boost kicked to 19 psi and the race was on. We took two curves posted @ 50 @ 70 and then when I reached the final 3 miles to my house, I laid into the b59351 and lost the sucker!!

YEEEEEEEHHHHAAAAWWwww.... .

I want an EZ now..... SWEET!!!

How can a 6 Cylinder beat a big block V-8? #ad

It has always been said "On the street, there is no substitute for Cubic Inches"

The Cummins B series engine proves that wrong. #ad
Big Time! #ad

I think you mean "there's no replacement for displacement"

359cid of inline six stroking, and "stroking is better than rubbing" baby

There is a substitute for cubes, Better Engineering!!! It's better to have your holes lined up down the middle than off to the side!!!

I got the chance to race a F150 (I take what I can get) the other day. The woman driving it was weaving through traffic and stopped beside me at a light. So I just started inching forward and she could not stand it, she rolled forward to matche me like three times. When the light turned green I let her get me off the line and then I jumped on it and woosh I was gone. Beat her across the intersection with all four wheels spinning in the slush and then I hit the dry pavement and I was gone... ... 38 lbs of boost and a big black clould is a beautiful thing.

I had a Duramax try to race just the other night while going to meet up with some fellow Rammers here in Phoenix.
Stop light to stop light, not a chance. He tried several lights, but just couldn't cut it.

cscpusher- how do you beat a duramax with nothing done to your motor? If you are stock like you sig says there is NO way you could beat him.

Maybe the SB's weight advantage and a nice tight transmission??

Or maybe 'stealth' engine mods (until the warranty runs out) #ad

Hey, I've got atip on that Duramax/Cummins racing situation.
I inherited my current truck (see sig) because my Dad needed a new truck for his busness, well he got a Chevy 3500 Ext. Cab Lonbed Dually, w/Duramax/Allison combo. Having drivin' the duramax a bit I can tell you one thing that's different from the Cummins.

Cummins: Has POWER, then when turbo spools up, Cummins has more POWER.

Duramax: Doesn't have much power, ya gotta wait for the turbo to spoo-------l up.
(EXAMPLE: from a dead stop, WOT ya gotta wait till about 25 MPH till the truck really starts to move, by then the Dodge is all-ready gone. )

BTW The duramax doesn't care if you are cruising at 40MPH, or at 80MPH, once you are moving the DMAX is just plain Fast, but nothing is better than the only REAL DIESEL,
CUMMINS POWER!

I was fortunate enough to get into a stoplight race with a PSD the other day. Both trucks were agonizingly slow until the boost came up, but at that point, the PSD disappeared behind me. I know that without the EZ, the Ford was probably slightly faster, but with it, there was no comparison.
