Anyone know about these? Sounds impressive, at least according to the "sales pitch": http://www.parker.com/racor/air.html

I see they're available for older Rams, pre '97, but I think it's because that is an old web page. Think they're worth taking a look at. I hit on this while looking for some info on fuel filters.

I did some more looking and found the Racor air filters are rated at a minimum of 99. 4% efficiency at removing particles of . 5 microns, and even higher efficiency for larger particles. The filters are made with some sort of synthetic material. You can look at the information at http://www.racor.com and click on the technical information link. You'll need Adobe reader.

Vaughn,I use Parker filters on hydralic equipment, all of Parkers products are very high quality. Their price for a 10 micron synthetic filter(microglass)is $70 vs $23 for the same filter in cellulose, big difference eh?When looking up these prices in the WW Granger catalog I noticed that Granger can cross Parker filters with Fleetguard. You might want to check with Granger, they have an outlet in Tri-Cities 547-6574.
