Racor fuel filters

When I purchased my 91 W250 it had a Racor fuel filter mounted on the power brake housing. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the lines from the filter had been disconnected. Is this filter a good thing to have or does it cause more problems than its worth?

Good idea. I have a simular setup because the factory filter is small and doesn't trap as much as this larger bowl style filters. When changing filter you will be amazed by how much crude is traped by the bowl. Plus 2 filters are better then one.

I agree with nascar mark. You also have a wide range of filter ratings too, all the way from about 1 or 2 microns up...
