Modine used to be a high quality aftermarket radiator builder/supplier. Hopefully they still are.

Gene, that sucks... . sorry to hear it.

I had to take a double take... Gene posting in the normal peoples section. . wow.

Modine is the way to go for out of the box. The replaced mine even after my electric fans wore through it (word of advise to those out there, don't use the supplied nylon straps, build a suppport). Bought mine through napa. I found a guy locally here in sac that i building the rad for my cummins chevy based on the dodge radiator, but it's ALL aluminum for about 400 bucks. I get you one Gene for about $800 ;) Take care bud.

Yeah, So where is Gene and what have you done to him? :-laf

Did it hurt when Grizz asked what you had for a truck? Almost like he didn't know who you are? :D

I didn't know any of us Diesel heads were normal? Look at Dl5treez

for example.

No, Tim, when I saw Griz was from New Mexico, and he has a Lance camper, instead of horsepower goodies in his signature, I figured he wasn't a pulling fan, lol! ;)

But hey, I treat all Diesel people equally, even the Fords and Chevys!

So Jake, whats better in the salt? Aluminum or copper?

Years ago, I remember putting on an extra transmission cooler on a Chevy, and throwing away the nylon straps---entelligant beyond my years at that time, eh? :-laf ;)

Right now I'm thinking, $400 vs not leaking yet... ... ...

It may be the excessive speed that he creates when he drags the sled down the track.

Dan. .

Better have a good set of chains since he posted here,LOL... ..... Andy

Good question, Cali has been salt free since late 80's.

Copper is 10th down on the Galvanic Series of Metals in Sea Water, 21st spot is 2024 Aluminum, and 24th spot is pure aluminum aka: 1100.

So my guess is that Copper would hold up better in the salt of PA... not like you drive that beast on the road anyhow :-laf How many are you going to owe me before I get to cash in my favors! Just Kiddin' :D
