ok it started saturday very slow leak not very noticable. i went 20 miles to work leaks. go 40miles to uncles dosnt leak. i dont under stand. how much is a new radiator? and i herd something about a cemical that they put in the radiator? any help would be greatly apriciated.

I'd go to a radiator shop first. They are usually pretty reasonable. On the chemicals, we used to use Bar's leak as an additive for lubrication and it will stop leaks. But it makes everything look gunky in there. Bronze Seal was another. I'd do the radiator shop first. They can repair, clean out, pressurize and test. Then you'll feel more comfortable.

founf one here by me for 300 do u think that is a steel or what. now how much fluid is needed? thanks guys u have been very helpfull.

Tstetson,

Your radiator shop won't strip, boil, rod-out and solder your OE radiator?

In other word, fix the pinhole?
