Does Horton make a kit for our trucks, and has anyone replaced the stock radiator with an aluminum one? I need to uprgrade my cooling system now that I have all this extra power, the temps will soon be 120f in the shade again.

Can't help with the radiator but I have never had a problem with mine - it's a cross flow - no mater what the weather conditions, towing or temps. I do have a Horton fan - they are not cheap but I am very happy with it.

The Horton kit was only made for the 2nd gens, and it has gone the way of the dinosaur. The repair parts have gotten pricey since they are out of production.

Any other options for the fan, I like the horton unit, but if I can't get one I'll look for something else. I will replace the radiator, it's original and probably could use some rodding and cleaning, but no one in town does that anymore, and the cost of a new one is cheap enough just to replace it.

What I would do is probably update to a 93 style radiator. It will take a bit of fabrication to make it fit

I have the cross-flow radiator allready, I think DC did that change with the intercooler. Is the 93 radiator different than that?

The EC450 Horton fan clutch is still available, at least the last I knew it was. The problem is the fan itself is no longer available and neither are the wiring harnesses (one could be fabbed easy enough though).
