was doing some work in the engine bay and I noticed the top radiator hose ( the one lateral across the radiator) was not oval...I could pinch it easily to make it oval... I don’t remember it being that soft.... just had the radiator flushed 4 weeks ago... running cool, no issues... 2012 2500 Cummins...

I dont recall a change interval per se, I do mine at 5 years or 60K miles. Inspection for cracking and or swelling, particularly at clamps. Coolant flush/change is ideal time to change them, the serpentine belt, idle, and closely inspect water pump. Although you hit the time schedule, dont know where you are in mileage.

Anyhoo, that's me... someone else may have a different process.

Cheers, Ron

Got around today to changing the hoses...I am now of the opinion (after researching some prior posts here on the TDR) that the hose puckering was due to the coolant flush (done by the dealer by accident and comped) was not purged correctly and ended up being vacuumed purged incorrectly...Interesting enuff the bottom hose was OEM, couldn't find the OEM part anywhere here for the top hose, so used the NAPA clone (Gates I think makes it for them)...I let these go to long to be honest and although soft and puckered held with no problem...Dodged a bullet on this one... (pun intended )
