If I remember correctly the instruction manual says not to add any additives to the coolant that are designed to stop leaks. Unfortunately my oil reports are showing Potassium in the oil and Blackstone thinks that it must be from a small leak somewhere allowing coolant to get into the oil. Now I have to change my oil frequently to keep the Potassium number down as well as the wear metals. Is there any suggestions on an additive that could possibly eliminate this small leak, wherever it might be, without damaging the coolant system? Thanks for any suggestions.

Back when I drove a tractor trailer our mechanic used Barr's Leak in our Cummins engines, routinely.

Also, he recommended something called Copper Seal if I remember correctly. It comes in a hard plastic tube and had copper and probably zinc. It worked really well.

I used the Copper Seal in an emergency on one occassion. It didn't even cloud up the coolant. And it worked.

Did your report say anything about high copper ? [ that is spouse to be the oil cooler ] .
Then go to a good repair shop , one that has Motor magazine's laying around , they had an add that was a permanent sealer , porcelain I think , $69 a can , the Cummins would take 2 cans , I out of the repair buis now but I was planning on testing this .
Any sealer you use , change the oil rite away again , you do not want the sealer going into oil .
