Radio/CD player

Just got my new 3500 SRW. I had about a four hour drive home. Was using the CD player. After about one hour to hour and a half the CD would quit and then restart. The book states the CD player will shut down if it gets hot. Does this sound excessive? It does to me. The CD player in my 99 never quit. I am calling the dealer tomarrow, but was wondering if anybody else was having this problem.

It should play endlessly w/o overheating, Take it back to the dealer.

Thanks for the reply. I need to update my signature, but we have almost the same trucks. Mine is a laramie and I do not have positive rear end. The color, engine and transmission are the same though. I also bought the sport trim to put in the grill, but am a little confused how it goes in.



I also thought the radio should be replaced. I called the dealer and am waiting for them to call back.
