3 times now in the past couple weeks, I start the truck and the time is off and all the pre-set channels are gone

I haven't disconnected the batteries but that is what it acts like.

No error codes, what is going on here????

Truck is kinda new to me so not too sure of all the faults yet.

Any one have this issue too?????

How old are the batteries?? When cranking, you can drop the voltage enough to cause the radio to reset, if they are getting bad. The starter takes all the power it can and not leave enough reserve to run everything else.

GOOD ANSWER

I never thought of that. I don't know how old the batteries are, they are the same size and brand (interstate). I've only had the truck a month.

I checked the voltage (not running) 12. 6v

The starter seems not to drag and the engine cranks right off.

But now I think about it, I thought the a/c fan (when on high) would speed up at times while just driving around. Almost like a bad connection maybe.

What would be a good method to check battery condition?

thanks Hoefler
