While hooking in my Car-kit for my Nokia phone, I found that there was an extra lead for "muting" the radio when the phone rings/is being used.
Much to my surprise, there is a pin designated for this purpose on my Infinity AM/FM/CD/Cassette radio. The radio has a label on it which shows the pin... . problem is that there is no pin in the factory connector that plugs into it. (I was able to obtain the pin that goes into the connector - and it works!) - apparently, when this special pin on the radio is grounded, the radio is muted. Nothing shows up on the display nor does the the cd pause, but it does work for a muting function. (I kind of wished it would not COMPLETELY mute the sound, but its nice to know its there, and works!)
