When's the last time you took the truck in for service? Software updates might be available.

went to site says last eight invalid double check still invalid

If your truck is a fairly recent purchase, Uconnect hasn't entered your vin in their database yet. I think you can call them and give them the number to speed things up. But it sounds like you have more than a software issue.

There was new software issued for most of the radios in the last couple of weeks.
