2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission radio problems

I have 96, 2500, infinitity sounds system. I have problems with the control button, turning the sound up or down, pushing the mode buttons, will not work. You have to push and push before anything happens. It also has a 6 CD player. Has anybody had this problem?

I don't have that problem. The radio I have has a joy stick to adjust the sound from the front to back and side speakers. I have been having problems with the joy stick sliding all the way down when driving causing the sound to come out of the back speakers only. . Very annoying!!!

I've had the same problem. The push button contacts and other controls need to be cleaned. I considered replacing mine with a new unit but opted to have mine serviced. Cost me $75. 00 (I removed & replaced it to save $20. 00). Working fine since last November.
