I have a W250 with radio trouble. I may have to replace the radio because radio repair told me that it could run as hight as $200. 00 for repair of the radio. I did a search on the web and found some from dodge and jeeps. What I need to know what year dodge truck radios will fit my truck. also will jeep radios fit and if so what years will fit. Hope someone can help. Take care.

Hey BlueJay, I just bought a Jensen 550 from Montgomery Wards for $50. 00. It does not have all of the latestes bells and whistles but it has cd controls built in, cassette, and 25 watts x 4. It is a DIN and a half and the chassis to hold it can be found at Wal Mart, along with a painless plug in wiring harness. I am having trouble finding out what size the rear speakers are on my CC. I think they are 5x7 but will wait until i get ready to install before i buy new speakers. Unless i find some on sale!!!!

The radio in my 92 Dodge "went south" and cost too much to repair. I had a late model Infinity radio from a 97 Dodge installed and it fit and hooked up perfectly. Cost was $380 from a local radio shop.

Ble Jay 40-I have had really good luck getting car stereo equipment from the folks at Crutchfield. They are on the web. They also sell many different brands, models and offer tech. advice and assistance to anyone regardless of whether they are a client. They sell some models that fit perfectly in the OEM stereo space on the dash-good luck.

My neighbor gave me a radio from a late model truck. Looks just like the one in my son's 2000 gas quadcab. Fits fine.

Thank You for answering my question. I think you are right. Our son has a 2001 gas job, I looked at his CD player radio and it looks like it would fit. It would be nice if we had a site or someway to get part years of replacement information for our trucks. How do I go about asking Robert Patton if he could do this? How about it Robert can you do this?

I went ahead with the repair of the radio that I took out. One reason is because I still do not know what Chrysler vehicles and years will fit my truck. It would be nice if we had a way to fine out what parts are interchangeable on our trucks with other vehicles. By the way the repair on my radio will be $160. 00. Repair good for one year. Thank you everybody for your input to my guestion. Take care.

Hay Blue Jay, Here's a tip. All Chrysler radios are interchangable. If you doubt it,take yours out and compare. If you know anyone at a dealership, ask where they go to have upgraded radios installed(aftermarket). I found the local shop and got a brand new takeout for $150. It is axactly the same radio that is in my JeepGrand Cherokee and my Stratus. Everything bolts right up and the speaker plugs are the same. It was a snap to install. Took longer to get the dash bezzle out than anything else. The newer radios are much better than what came in your 1st gen and have more power and more features. Good Luck.

Thank you preleeguy, your information is the answer that I was looking for. I know that the radios looked like they would fit, but I wasn't sure that they would. Now if I fine a good buy on a newer radio I will go ahead and buy it. Then I will replace the one that I'm haveing repaired. Take care and thank you again for answering my question.
