Radio Static

My '93 has started to have static on the AM band only. The frequency of the static increases and decreases with engine RPM, and there is no static with engine off, radio on, in Acc position. Any ideas?

This would emiminate your static :-laf

Altinator starting to go , some people have added a condenser for that , but have someone test the alt. possable diode gone .
