Stainless Steel Injector Bodies a Myth? Are you really getting New or Remans?

This has happened a number of times so it is somewhat repeatable, but if I am in Drive (auto trans) and have the radio set on Sirius Sat radio, and shift to 2, the radio switches to AM! Anyone experience this? Is it something that I can fix easily? Thanks in advance.

Exorcism maybe?

When you say shift to 2nd is that manually moving the lever or letting it auto downshift?

Manually moving shift lever from D to 2. I live at the bottom of a steep hill, and when towing my trailer home I manually downshift (either have it in TOW/HAUL or OD OFF) from D to 2 and the radio switches.

Either you have a bad electrical ground\connection that is introducing a spike to the system when you manually shift, or, the lever maybe contacting a harness that is introducing a partial short. Either one is possible.

The radio controls in the steering wheel are MUX (variable voltage) switches. If the shifter is shorting the wire it changes the voltage and the radio thinks someone asked for the radio to change modes.
