radio want go off.

this started today. i turned the truck off and removed the key and the radio stayed on. the face was dark but it was playing. i have had a painless wiring block in for at least 3 years and everything that is set to come with the key is also on. any idea what this could be? the radio is factory. any help is appreciated.

It is your ignition switch, mine went bad and had to replace it. My blower motor would stay on. I would replace it as soon as possible! My switch was burnt from all the arcing.

thanks for reply. took to dealership today. it was not the ignition switch. they had the whole dash apart. could not find anything there. than went to the fuse block under the hood. after unhooking some fuses and not finding anything they unhooke the fuse block and when put back it stopped. could not get it to start again. so if is fix for now and nt sure what did it.

Accessory time delay?

My '07 does that. After turning the engine off with radio playing,it'll play until I open the door. All this electronic stuff gives me the creeps but it's been issue-free for over three years now.

well. you couldopen door and it would still be playing. close door and come back and it would still be playing. when it started i just turned radio off and went in to work. About an hour later came back ouot and pushed button on to see if it would come on and it did. i just hope it does not come back. i don't think the 03 had the time delay.
