I've got a spa gauge that reads uncorrected rail pressure. With the TST on 6/6, ez on 45 hp setting, in od running 70 mph, mashing the throttle down quick without kicking out of od, the rail pressure will drop like a rock to about 11000 from 22000 till the turbo lights and the rpms pick up then the rail pressure will climb to 24 to 25000. Starting from a dead stop, mash the throttle to the floor the pressure hits about 11000 then drops to 7000 for a split second then it'll climb to 24 to 25000 with just a little fluctuation between shifts. I'm pretty sure pop off valve is fine with the ez on 65 hp setting running 80 mph the pressure reads 26700 consistently. Is the temporary pressure drop normal with all the duration the tst uses maybe its draining the rail momentarily??? Or could the afc solenoid be going bad?? I know some guys that have a different type gauge on an 03 and they say there rail pressure climbs as they push the accelerator down and they are running a tst also. Anyone have any ideas??? Has any of y'all changed just the afc solenoid???

If your pressure is actually 26,000+ you are probably ruining your pressure relief valve. I have never seen more than 24,000 on the scan tool, but that is stock under heavy load.

24000 stock under heavy load is about what mine will run. The factory sensor is supposed to only be accurate to 26700. I don't think the valve has been hurt any cause it will carry 26000 consistentley for long periods of driving. With 24000 being the max stock I would think Bosch would have at least allowed 3 to 4000 safety factory before the valve pops, keep in mind even though the valve is not made to open and close repeatadley without some damage it should be fine once in a great while.
