Ram 2019-2020 Trans Recall WO3 (68RFE)

Just called Ram customer assistance to get a printed Diesel Supplemental owners manual for my 2019 2500 Limited and they let me know about this Trans recall WO3 pertaining to the 68RFE trans only: https://www.allpar.com/news/2020/02/fiery-ram-recall-is-not-as-scary-as-it-sounds-47349
Apparently the trans builds up too much heat and pressure and then fluid comes out of the dip stick tube onto the turbo and related sources of ignition and can cause a fire.

It would be interesting to know the conditions where the trans burps fluid. I’ve had the trans over 200 deg climbing a ski mountain service road to 4000’, also towed my 27’ camper up through I89 in VT and no signs of any trans fluid anywhere in the engine compartment.

I’ve got 3500 miles on mine, all light duty no load mostly freeway and everything seems fine
I’m going to keep a eye on the trans temp till it goes in for the recall repair. This is my first Ram and first diesel so I don’t want to see it go up in smoke!
I really like this truck so far.
