Came up behind a flatbed dually on RT17 in Phoenix. It was very clean and seemed to have our unique curved frontend which always catches my attention.

As I passed the truck, I noticed the fender badge said 4000 not 3500.

As I drove on, I looked in my rear view mirror and that truck seemed to be taller than a regular 3500. The cab looked the same as ours.

Anyone know of this truck? It is something new?

I did not catch the plate, so maybe this was a mexican rig??

David, They are south of the border trucks. I've seen a few on IH35 in the Austin Tx area and all of them have had mexican plates.

I'd like to get one of those fender "call out" badges. #ad

David your brain was just thawing out and you were not able to focus on the rig well. . all will be well when you return to the cold and resume the chill

Your not seeing things,,And since I'm in Phoenix every week and see these trucks on I-17 and I-10 I'll take my digital camera for a photo for the group,,They are mexican only and are in the 4500 and 5500 series, crew cabs also,,there is a gentleman in Lancaster,Pa with a 4500 series diesel crew cab,,He wnet down to purchase it and brought it back himself,,I have seen it at the local speed shop when he picked up a K&N for it,,Will try to track it down for the group,,All I remember about the truck is he said it was VERY pricey to buy and bring over and he would NEVER buy a Furd for his service so thats why he did what he did. .
