ok, so i just finished up a 3200 mile trip... . on the way back from tucsun to yuma AZ i passed a white standard cab flat bed ram. no big deal right? BUT the side badge said 4000. now, i couls see someone making it say 5000 or 5500, but i have never seen a "4" badge made by dodge...

so what gives? it was a dually... . it sat higher than my 3500 as well. not just in the front but al around. had factory wheels it looked like... .

If it had Mexico plates, that your answer right there. Apparently these elusive 4000/5000 exist in Mexico and south.

arizona plates. i know it is damn near impossible to register a ride from mexico in the states... .

same with the "ram charger" (2 door durango) that does not meet US standards... .

Saw a SRW, longbox, reg. cab Ram 4000 last year. No badges, other than the Dodge emblem, and the "4000" on the doors.

Sounded like a 24v motor (straight-piped :D) and it also had a manual transmission. Passed the owner on the way into a truck shop for parts. It was white also.
