I travel quite abit for work and have seen Ram 6500's in both Mexico and Canada. (I know I saw them in Mexico and I think I saw one in Canada befor and din't know what it was. ) Is this avalible in the US? It looks like our Ram's but scaled up 30% in size.

P. S. Anyone know what it takes to buy a truck in one county and bring it back into the US?

There was a thread a while back about what people were paying for their trucks. I was amazed how expensive they seemed in the States compared to Canada. Not to say that they are cheap here but when you factor in the exchange rate it would seem like a good idea to buy one here and "import" it back into the States.

Less provincial and federal taxes fo 15%, less the A/C tax of Cdn$100 and delivery of $950 the total was Cdn$39,816. 00 At current Fx rates of 1. 55 or 65 cents US will buy 1 Canadian dollar that works out to US$25,686 (see sig) does not include the running boards or seat covers.

The only downside would be the instrument gauges. The speedometer is in Km/h (prominent) with mph in smaller type. Also the oil pressure is in Kilopascals.

I should also mention that I bought my truck (April '00) through Amway. I guess they had some kind of a fleet discount deal which is no longer offered.

Good luck.

Richard
