ive looked at a thread here airdog hoods or somthing like that you will find it if you search on threads strated by bob wagner.

I looked at many different hoods for the truck, most all were fiberglass, I decided to go with the SRT-10 hood.

About 10 years ago I put an aftermarket fiberglass hood on my sportscar, after a couple years it became a little warped, then a few cracks could be seen (kind of fine lines were visible well away from the hinges or areas of stress). I had a couple choices at that time, one - have it repaired, or two - replace it. The repair bill estimate was more costly than replacement, I chose to replace it with a metal aftermarket hood.

Just some food for thought, not everyone will have the same experience with things. I have a friend who has a suncoast hood, has had it for a year, it looks good so far.

Air Bulldog hoods have been out of business for quite a few years now. the owner was once a member on here and had offered the molds and the entire deal once for sale and has not been seen or heard from since. That I can remember he only ever made 1 3rd Gen hood.

3rd gen owners have the factory SRT10 hood as a option and some others which are available in fiberglass. I'd bet money if you seen the awful fit of my girlfriends Suncoast hood you would run far away from them. better than 30 hrs of fitting on it and it looks like crap. The only reason it was left on was because it has the WS6 scoops on it and there are no other ram air style options for the 2nd gen owners. On my truck was used a Reflexxion steel "Viper Cowl" but IMO there quality was not to be bragged about either... ... Andy
